This is a photo of me working in my personal studio.  While at Miami University I had the space and equipment to experiment with larger scale work like the image to the right.  Now that I am back in my Hilliard studio I will be somewhat limited in the scale of my pieces but never the less I am excited to start a new body of work.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind,  96" x 32" x 32", ceramic and grass, 2008

I am based out of Hilliard, Ohio and have operated my own studio since 2003.  I received my BFA in 2002 from the Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, Ohio, and my MFA from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 2009.  I am currently an Adjunct Ceramics Instructor at CCAD and have started a new body of work.  The inspiration for my latest series is Color Field Painting and Ceramic Kitsch.  I currently have work in the "4th International Small Teapot Competition" at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.  Future exhibitions include "Emerging Artists" at the Ohio Craft Museum 7/11/2010 - 8/22/2010 and "This Label is Removable" OSU Urban Art Space TBA.
